Choo-Choo!!!

This cake was for my nephew's 1st Birthday (pre-cake classes)

I got this idea from kraftfoods.com website. They have some good recipes and ideas. I added the cupcake trees. I had leftover cake mix so I had to do something with it.

It's amazing what you can do with some cake mix and candy!!!

One thing I'll recommend for cakes - make sure you cover the cake board in something that will not soak up grease. I made the mistake of using tissue paper for this cake. I recommend using cake boards that have wax on them, foil made for covering cake boards (not regular foil) or I like to use wrapping paper and cover it with contact paper. This takes time, but displays your cake on a nice surface.
